Asian Americans of Riverside Theatre

A Theatre Troupe founded by Asian-American artists, we provide a space for students from a range of backgrounds to learn, create, and perform. We run workshops, put on productions, and hold talkbacks with artists currently working in the industry. Join us for boba outings, bowling trips, and meet student artists just like you!

Comedy Closet

Our goal is to bring people together through laughter and comedy, and to encourage them to explore their comedic abilities through improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy.

Latine/x Play Project

The mission of The Latine/x Play Project is to empower students and the greater UCR and Riverside communities by uplifting underrepresented voices through the power of theatre. Established by former TFDP Professor Dr. Tiffany Ana López in 2014, UCRLPP is dedicated to providing great, diverse theatre for free and completely open to the public, full of corazón and positive representation for Latine/x folks and BIPOC. By facilitating theatre based workshops, producing staged readings and full productions The Latine/x Play Project hopes to foster a cooperative learning environment within its inclusive student ensemble by inviting anyone interested in joining regardless of initial skill sets and backgrounds. UCRLPP is what YOU make of it. We hope that you will join us in this mission to bring our stories to life!
