Call for Gluck Film Ensemble Fellows

The Department of Theatre, Film and Digital Production, in partnership with the UCR Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts, is seeking TFDP majors to create a film for GluckTV in the Fall 2021 quarter. Both actors and crew members will be needed.

The TFDP Gluck Film Ensemble will create a 10-minute film for general audiences under the direction of 1-2 playwriting/screenwriting graduate students. GluckTV is an open virtual resource for persons/communities who seek out access to relevant art and performance practices to develop their own potential growth and ambition.

SCHEDULE:
The rehearsal and film shoot schedule will be determined in September, and dates will be coordinated with all film ensemble members. Students who apply must have enough flexibility in their schedules to be available evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary. The finished film must be submitted before December 15, 2021.

ELIGIBILITY:
TFDP majors who will be enrolled as full-time students for the Fall 2021 quarter are eligible to apply. Students must also be eligible for financial aid, as the Gluck fellowship is paid through financial aid.

GLUCK FELLOWSHIP PAYMENTS / PRODUCTION UNITS:
Students who are chosen to be part of the TFDP Gluck Film Ensemble will receive a Gluck fellowship in the amount of $1,000 once the finished film is submitted. Students will also be eligible for production units (TFDP 170-175) based on the number of hours spent on the film.

INTERESTED STUDENTS:
If you are interested, please send a cover letter and resume (both in PDF format) to Ben Tusher (ben.tusher@ucr.edu).
