Presenting the Department of Theatre, Film, and Digital Production’s 2021-22 Season

Season Header 2021-22

Dear TFDP Community,

I can’t breathe. In many ways, these three words seem to define the challenging chapter of history we’ve been living through. From the dying plea of George Floyd and others suffering systemic injustice to those suffering from Covid-19 attacking their lungs; from the oppressively vitriolic nature of our political climate to the wall-to-wall torrent of news and information keeps us apprised of all of the above and more. It’s been a daily, sometimes hourly, struggle to come up for air.

In response to these tumultuous times, we have curated a season that we hope will bring us that much-needed breath of fresh air, while also providing a meaningful next step in our intentional move toward decolonizing theatre-making at UCR.

Presenting the Department of Theatre, Film, and Digital Production’s 2021-22 Season:
