Bad & Nasty: UCR Students Engage in Artistic Activism

In All, Theatre by Richard Gonzales

In solidarity with hundreds of performance artists and activists nationwide, on President’s Day, UCR students came together to participate in “Bad and Nasty.” The creativity in artistic expression ranged from poems, spoken word, and political limericks to short plays, show tunes, and feminist dance. We are so proud of our UCR students for making their voices heard and for communicating their ideas with compassion through artistic expression. Special thanks to the Theatre, Film, and Digital Production Department for supporting Dr. Patrice Amon, Dr. Donatella Galella, and Dr. Annika Speer in producing this collaborative event.
