25 Under 25 Fest

In All by Richard Gonzales

The 25 Under 25 Fest is a film festival based in SLO, founded by a current student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, that will highlight young filmmakers under the age of 25, who are making films under 25 minutes. It is open to all California residents and also students going to school in California. The aim is to produce an environment that encourages youth art, innovative ideas, and lasting connections between young filmmakers.

The film fest is completely free to enter for students, but will soon only be $5. It’s an incredible opportunity for students to showcase their work on a larger platform. The filmmakers will also be accommodated with 2 night lodging and food while they’re in San Luis Obispo. They will be staying in log cabins by the beautiful Central Coast beach. We will also be giving away $2,500 in cash prizes to the top 3 films. This is an incredible opportunity for college filmmakers to participate in a legitimate film festival.
