Erith Jaffe-Berg has published articles on multilingual theatre, commedia dell'arte and translation theory in il cannocchiale, Early Theatre, The European Studies Journal, The Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Metamorphoses, Translation Perspectives, Quaderni d'Italinistica, and Testualecritica. Her work on the representation of the Middle East in theatre appears in Text & Presentation and Quaderni di Studi Arabi. Her translation into Hebrew of the play Polygraph by the French-Canadian playwrights Robert Lepage and Marie Brassard appears in Canadian Plays: An Anthology (The Hebrew University Magnes Press, 2005). Recently, she contributed an essay on the Comédiens Italiens to the anthology International Dramaturgy: Translation & Transformations in the Theatre of Timberlake Wertenbaker (Peter Lang, 2008). Her book The Multilingual Art of Commedia dell’Arte is forthcoming from Legas, Ottawa.
