Luis is a working professional actor in Los Angeles where he is continuously pounding the actor pavement. He holds his M.F.A. in Acting from the University of CA, Irvine. Luis has acted on stage, in television and in Film and continues to hone his craft through various classes and seminars in Los Angeles. He has worked in regional theatres including The Guthrie in Minneapolis and PCPA Theaterfest on California’s central coast.
Recently Luis finished the feature film Stand, a story about two brothers who end up stranded in an abandoned mine field in Vietnam. He plays one of the leads, Bob Marcus, who is the younger brother living in the shadow of his golden child older brother Alex.
As for TV, Luis just came off of shooting Criminal Minds, and The Last Ship. He also recently performed in a play called The Pliant Girls put on by the Fugitive Kind Theatre company at The Colony Theatre in Burbank. The Pliant Girls was nominated for numerous Ovation awards in 2014 and took home the Ovation awards for Best Directing and Best Playwright.
